CIRAD welcomes some 450 interns a year. This concerns every field of our scientific activity, as well as our support services (IT, human resources, etc.).
There are no internships on offer at present.
You can send an unsolicited application to the research units or support services for which you may be suitable.
Applications for internships must be made several months in advance, to enable processing.
Under our cooperation agreements and research projects, we welcome around 130 new partners each year for varying lengths of time, from a few weeks to several years.
Building strategic partnerships is fundamentally important for CIRAD: research in partnership is a source of synergies between science and cooperation with tropical and Mediterranean countries, open to a wide range of stakeholders.
CIRAD’s researchers are heavily involved in PhD and post-doc training. CIRAD has close links with doctoral schools at higher education establishments in tropical and Mediterranean countries and in France. Training through research lies at the heart of our remit.
CIRAD works as a network catalyst, in particular through its platforms in partnership for research and training (dPs).
CIRAD is fully involved in training French and foreign young scientists and students.
From its regional offices, CIRAD conducts joint operations with more than 100 countries.
