Emerging diseases in Southeast Asia - GREASE

How can we manage the emerging health risks at the interface between animals, humans and their environments?

Southeast Asia is a hotspot in terms of disease emergence, due to a number of converging factors: climate change, deforestation, urban growth and changing production conditions and market chains. The GREASE network promotes a “One Health” approach, taking account of the interdependence of social and epidemiological dynamics, biodiversity and health, and veterinary and human public health in order to prevent and control these diseases.
